Created in collaboration with Black Arts Toneworks, the DOD Boneshaker delivers crushing distortion effects with exceptional low-frequency presence. Loaded with a circuit designed by stompbox authority, Mark Wentz, this not-so-subtle pedal is made for 7/8-string guitars, baritone guitars as well as basses and has been equipped with an extensive 3-band equalizer so you can rein in or unleash its raw power at will.

The Boneshaker: Distortion, Depth and Level

If you play hard-rock, metal or any other style that demands thundering bass, the Boneshaker is always a logical pick since it works well with clean and overdrive channels as well as on its own and in combination with other effects. Twist the Distortion pot to dial in anything from a rough edge to gain-overload, then tweak the Depth control to set the low-end growl before engaging the Level pot to adjust the volume.

Equalizer

Furnished with a very welcome 3-band EQ, the Boneshaker doesn't just support standard low, mid and high tweaks, but comes with stacked EQ controls that give you the option to shift the centre of each frequency range. All of it comes wrapped up in a sturdy and stylish aluminium housing and polished off with true bypass functionality.
